Adjacent to a water estuary in the southern part of the reserve, this is a haven for game and birds, with guests able to spot them en-route to the nearby waterhole.
There are just 4 generously-sized air-conditioned suites, ensuring that the lodge is quiet and private. The lodge itself houses a library, dining room, large viewing and sun deck as well as a boma and a swimming pool, with both game drives and escorted bush walks available on the reserve and further afield.
As the name suggests, water is a major feature at this small but perfectly-formed lodge. As well as sitting next to an estuary it also has a waterhole, and it is a real haven for bird-watchers. A very good value property, perfect for the first-timer.
Flanked by a charming swimming pool and a lounge bar, the dining area offers rich banquets and extraordinary service, enchanting you with a memorable wildlife viewing while enjoying Waterbuck culinary specialities.
Extremely sumptuous, roomy and cosy, the 4 chalets at Waterbuck are ideal if you want to spend a great time in the Savannah, preserving your privacy and intimacy. Accessed through pathways quite distant from each other, every suite has air-conditioners, outdoor shower and a stunning view over the dry river bank and the passing animals inhabiting the area.
The lodge accommodates visitors looking for a full intimate holiday, and children are permitted on request.
