Knysna Hollow Country House offers an oasis of calm in the Garden Route. Set amongst the beautiful gardens of the estate, and just a few minutes from the Knysna lagoon and town centre, it's the perfect pit stop along the Garden Route or destination for those wanting to sit back and relax.
Situated just outside of Knysna, Knysna Hollow is a fabulous base from which you can explore the Garden Route.
Accommodation is in comfortable garden cottages and rooms set in a country estate with sprawling gardens.
Knysna Hollow Restaurant
Situated in the manor house, the Knysna Hollow Restaurant serves seasonal dishes in a relaxed atmosphere. Ranging from fresh seafood, Karoo lamb and decadent desserts using ingredients from their garden you'll be spoilt for choice. There's also an extensive wine list so you can sample some of South Africa's best creations.
Pecan Tree Grill Room
The Pecan Tree Grill Room takes its inspiration from the flavours of Cape Malay cuisine, offering an alternative to the menu of Knysna Hollow Restaurant. Expect Malay lamb curry, bobotie (a traditional Malay dish) and more spices than you thought existed.
Rutland Arms Pub
Enjoy a relaxed drink in the Rutland Arms Pub where there will always be a rugby game, cricket match or any other favourite national sport will be showing. Friendly staff will be on hand, and it's the perfect place to catch up with family, friends or other hotel guests.
Garden Rooms
There are 64 Garden Rooms on offer, all are fitted with a ceiling fan, television and open on to a covered patio leading out into the garden. 6 of the Garden Rooms are interconnecting, so they can be turned into a larger family room.
Garden Chalets
There are 15 Garden Chalets to choose from, 5 of which are family chalets with fold-out sofa beds. They have open plan living and bedroom areas, private patios and wood-burning fireplaces for those cooler evenings.
Superior Eco Estate Rooms
There are 8 Superior Eco Estate Rooms which overlook a perennial dam and are decorated in a Scandinavian style combining natural wooden finishes with a refined palette of blues and greys. Each room comprises an open-plan lounge area and outdoor viewing deck.
