Set amid tranquil grassland, the self-contained luxury lodge can be booked for exclusive use by a group of friends or family.
The suites – four double and two two-roomed family suites are as spacious as they are comfortable, with each having a private verandah, outside courtyard, spa bath and underfloor heating. Recent additions are four luxury safari tents and four luxury family safari tents, which offer a memorable tented safari experience without compromising on luxury or comfort. The bar in the main lodge overlooks the swimming pool and waterhole, and a full range of game viewing activities is available on the reserve in search of the big game which call Amakhala home.
The two-bedroom family rooms here are amongst the best on offer in the Eastern Cape. Combined with a children’s programme in a malaria-free environment, Hlosi is one of the best family-friendly lodges available.
Guests will take all of their meals in the lodge, with breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea being served in the main lodge. The staff will try and offer some variety with locations for evening meals, trying to give guests at least one starlight dining experience during their stay.
