Possibly the most sophisticated boutique hotel in Cape Town which houses a magnificent art collection, spa and two private villas.
Set in elegant gardens with sweeping lawns giving glorious views of the Atlantic Ocean and Robben Island, each of the 11 rooms is individually designed, many with private patios or sea-facing balconies. The two private villas are for exclusive use and sleep up to 10 people in Villa One and up to 6 in Villa Two and the hotel also boasts a wine cellar with a truly extensive collection, a library, heated swimming pool, spa, gym and sauna. City sophistication at its finest.
One of Cape Town’s greatest & grandest locations, overlooking the sea in Bantry Bay. The complimentary extras are the big attraction here – butler service, sunset cocktails, mini-bars, use of in-room i-Pads and the all-day guest pantry.
Under the guidance of Chef Veronica, the cuisine at Ellerman House works in concert with their art and fine wine, creating an experience notable to even the most well-versed travellers.
As guests enjoy views of the Atlantic, Chef Veronica delights with her vibrant recipes, highlighted by Cape Malay spices and Farmers’ Market organic fruit and vegetables. The menu items change daily, but stay focused on modern European-style dishes.
Chef Veronica employs a ‘farm-to-fork’ philosophy that emphasises using only the freshest local ingredients. A master of the unexpected, her creativity pushes the boundaries of taste, while remaining true to the heart of gourmet cuisine.
Guests are welcome to make special requests beyond the daily à la carte options, and a 24-hour guest pantry is stocked with homemade fare. For those seeking healthier options, the Healthy Living program combines healthy menu options with fitness and spa regimes.
