A Huguenot-style villa which has been beautifully restored using a fusion of the classic with the contemporary, The Last Word is just seconds away from many wonderful restaurants, boutiques and galleries. The village is also surrounded by major wine estates, which guests can visit and have tutored wine tastings.
With just ten rooms, two of which have access to private pools, it offers comfort and charm in an elegant and relaxed environment and enjoys a superb central location.
This historic residence is to be found in the heart of the village of Franschhoek, famed as South Africa’s gourmet capital, and provides a chic yet comfortable setting for your time in the winelands.
You can expect South African traditional cuisine mixed with French flare. The Last Word Franschhoek prides themselves on the food they produce, and rightly so, it’s some of the best food around. And with an impressive menu like theirs you’ll find yourself wanting to stay longer just to finish the menu. Lunch and dinner at the hotel is provided upon request.
