The Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park has the largest population of white rhino in the world, and was in fact set up to protect these endangered creatures. Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge is the ideal base from which to explore this unique park.
As the name suggests, Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge enjoys spectacular views out across the Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park from its location perched on top of a ridge. Each of the 22 rooms has a private deck to make the most of the view, and all are air conditioned.
This contemporary lodge benefits from amazing views across the Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park, and the luxurious day spa is a welcome addition after a long game drive.
The restaurant serves breakfast, high tea and an a la carte dinner. A light lunch can be prepared upon request.
Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge accommodates a maximum of 36 guests in 4 different room types: 8 bush villas, 2 honeymoon villas, 4 safari rooms and 2 safari family rooms.
The rooms have been carefully positioned high up on a ridge to take full advantage of the spectacular views over the hills and valleys of Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park while at the same time giving each room maximum privacy. This has resulted in some of the rooms being quite a distance from the central lodge facility with some of them being a 200 metre walk to the main lodge area.
Children are welcome at Rhino Ridge, and will be served dinner before the adults.
