Kwara Camp enjoys an enviable position in a large private concession with abundant wildlife. With its permanent water that quintessential Okavango Delta experience, gliding the waterways in a mokoro canoe, can be enjoyed year round.
The focus is very much on the game viewing experience with drives, walks and boating also available throughout the year, flexible game drive times and both a guide and a tracker so that you see as much as possible. With just eight tents, the camp has an intimate atmosphere and a tranquil setting amongst towering trees on the edge of the lagoon.
With a range of activities available year round in this private reserve, Kwara is a great choice whichever time of year you visit.
Kwara's chefs prepare tasty food including fresh breads and salads, and plenty of it so there is no danger of going hungry.
Kwara Camp has nine traditionally-styled safari tents on raised wooden decks and feature outdoor showers. Stay in the honeymoon tent and you can soak in the free standing bath while listening to the sounds of the bush. The neighbouring sister camp Little Kwara is more intimate with just five tents.
Five activities available all year round:
The camp takes children from six years old and families with children younger than 12 are required to book a private vehicle. Specialist family guides can be arranged. Note that there are no family tents at Kwara.
