Secreted within tropical gardens the resort's white domed pavilions are intimate sanctuaries of minimalist style with an open, natural feel, butler service, plunge pools and baraza lounge.
While Zanzibar and the Indian Ocean provide the opportunity for a number of excursions many guests do little more than simply relax in the seclusion of their pavilions or possible indulge in a treatment at the resort's back to nature spa.

All your meals are included at Kilindi with private dining and plated meals rather than buffets. The superb food includes vegetables and herbs from the resort's organic garden and, of course, seafood fresh from the ocean.
Kilindi has 13 Pavilion Suites privately spread out in 35 acres of beautiful tropical gardens, each offering sea views, at least 200sq metres of space and a plunge pool. Each suite is unique with separate white domed structures - a spacious, simply but stylishly designed bedroom complete with discreet air conditioning built into the carved wooden headboard, a large wet room with rainfall shower and a day pavilion with lounge furniture next to your private plunge pool.

While Kilindi accepts children from the age of 16 it really is a resort for couples. There are other resorts on Zanzibar which are more suited to families.
