Enjoy a true Masai Mara safari experience in this tented bush camp on the northern edge of the reserve. There are just eight tented suites and one family suite, each offering dressing rooms and safari showers.
This is a totally eco-friendly experience with no generators, no permanent structures and no passing vehicles; just the sights and sounds of the bush. Game viewing, both on foot and by vehicle, is exceptional – big cats, elephant, small game, great bird-watching and of course the migration.
A good value tented camp in the style for which the Masai Mara has become world-renowned. The game viewing is on a par with the very best in Kenya and it leaves no eco-footprints as there are no generators and no permanent structures. The guides’ stories around the campfire at night are always memorable, as are the ‘surprise’ breakfasts which often appear as if by magic in the bush during a morning game drive.
Using original Italian recipes passed down from the owner ‘Stefano Cheli’s mother, Elephant Pepper Camp’s cuisine includes a mouth-watering combination of homemade pastas, traditional Italian recipes such as Melanzane Parmigiana and Osso Bucco, and fresh organic salads.
One of the joys of being on safari is to eat together and share your daily adventures with other guests. Communal dining is the normal practice at Elephant Pepper Camp, although private romantic dinners can also be arranged on request.
Meal times are as follows:
Elephant Pepper Camp is happy to cater to special diets such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc. Please make sure to inform us well in advance though, so that the camp managers can prepare for your arrival.
