Head out to an ocean paradise in the middle of the warm waters of the Indian Ocean where white sand beaches and tropical waters eagerly await your arrival. The island boasts three unspoilt beaches framed by lush vegetation and azure waters all of which can easily be explored on foot or by boat. Do as little as you desire, play a leisurely game of tennis or volleyball, enjoy a massage on the beach, or take part in one of the host of water sports on offer including scuba diving & sailing.
Stay in one of 25 unique thatched rosewood bungalows, all opening onto a beach and all with their own private terrace complete with hammock for luxurious lazing. Winner of the 'Best Barefoot Adventure' - you'll soon agree that this is the only place to fall off-grid, recoup and enjoy the best Tsarabanjina can offer.
One of the finest desert island experiences available anywhere in the world. The simple but elegant thatched bungalows all sit directly on the white sands, and are the perfect base from which to enjoy the water sports and superior cuisine. While getting to the island may take a little more effort (1½ hr flight from Antananarivo followed by another 1½ hr boat crossing, or 20 mins by helicopter); it is absolutely worth it for the ideal secluded beach experience.
The Tsarabanjina restaurant is made of natural wood and overlooks the sea. The meals are served at the restaurant, above the bar. The lodge has a big table on which you can admire the marvels from the sea and the vegetables and fruits form the Nosy Be market. With an extra charge, you can book a lobster dinner served on the beach.
The Bar
Share a cocktail at sunset or simply meet up with friends throughout the day at the laidback bar. With a floor of pure white sand and a view of the crystal waters of the Indian Ocean the vibe is so chilled here there's no closing time. Instead the staff prefer to stay open until the last guest is ready to leave.
The Lodge has 25 identical Bungalows. They are all along the beach. Your Bungalow is built in local wood and the roof is “Makuti”, it is 45 m2 and includes: a bedroom, bed with anti mosquitoes net, fan, safety box, bathroom with fresh water shower and separated toilet, minibar, a terrace equipped with two deck chairs and a hammock. Take advantage above all of the parasol and the beach chairs on the beach.
Children under the age of 4 years cannot stay at Tsarabanjina for security reasons. The island is more suited to older children.
