Cruises on the three Chobe Princess houseboats start and end close to the town of Kasane, with the boats covering a 50 kilometre stretch of the Chobe River. Guests are able to enjoy game viewing from the boat or from small tenders as well as fishing, birding trips and cultural village walks on Impalila Island. The boats have an open plan lounge, bar and dining area with unobstructed views and even boast a plunge pool. After a day exploring the area you will drift off to sleep as you listen to the waters of the Chobe River gently lapping at the side of the boat.
If you are looking for a totally different perspective on the Chobe River, a cruise on one of the three Chobe Princess houseboats is a wonderful way to spend some time. It makes its way gently along the river, offering game viewing from the boat or from small tenders as well as providing a spectacular setting for sundowner cruises.
Meals aboard the Chobe Princesses are communal affairs, taking place in the dining area adjacent to the bar. The menu is very varied, focusing on fresh ingredients.
With just four or five cabins the boats have a wonderfully intimate feel and the air-conditioned suites have a large sliding window to enjoy the river views.
Children of all ages are accepted but please note that there are no separate activities or menus for children.
