The only five-star hotel in Harare, the Meikles has survived and indeed prospered through the years to remain an oasis of calm. The hotel is situated in the heart of Harare and overlooks the historic landmark and colourful flower gardens of Africa Unity Square. The gracious charm, vibrant culture and silver service showcased at this legendary establishment have earned its reputation as Zimbabwe's premier hotel.
You will be taken to the airport for your light aircraft flight to Mana Pools National Park where you will stay at Ruckomechi Camp for three nights on full board basis with local drinks, park fees and game activities (game drives, walks, canoeing and boating) included. The first and still finest property in the Mana Pools National Park. The camp’s ten large tented chalets are all situated on the riverfront, each with a wooden veranda where you’ll find a couple of comfortable fold-up chairs and a good-sized table. One long side of each chalet has views of the surrounding bush and river, and to the side is the chalet’s own solar-power unit, which provides electricity and heats the water. This scenic location coupled with a high concentration of large game such as elephant and buffalo makes Ruckomechi a very classic safari destination.
Today you will fly by light aircraft to Lake Kariba for a three night stay at Changa Safari Camp on full board basis with local drinks, park fees and game activities (game drives, walks, boating and fishing) included. On the shores of the vast, man-made Lake Kariba, Changa Safari Camp provides seclusion and under canvas luxury while remaining in tune to its natural surroundings. With 4.5 kilometres of shoreline and access to Matusadona National Park, Changa is able to offer varied activities including game drives to search for elephant and buffalo; game walks to seek out the smaller creatures and track animals. When not out exploring the bush and the lake, guests can relax back at the camp on their tent's private veranda, in the homely lounge or by the swimming pool looking out over the expanse of Lake Kariba.
Fly by light aircraft to Hwange National Park for a three night stay at Linkwasha Camp on full board basis with local drinks, park fees and activities (game drives, walks and village visits) included. Found in Hwange's south-eastern corner, Linkwasha Camp is making waves as arguably the most luxurious safari camp in Zimbabwe following its complete renovation. The camp’s new contemporary style is a breath of fresh air, and in its position overlooking a pan it is also in a prime viewing location for game all year round.
Fly by light aircraft to Victoria Falls where you will be met and taken to The Elephant Camp for a three night stay on full board basis with local drinks, two transfers to town per day and a Meet the Elephants experience included. Situated on a private concession within and bounded by the Masuwe River and the Zambezi gorges, The Elephant Camp has breathtaking views of the Victoria Falls’ as well as the spectacular gorges which separate Zimbabwe and Zambia. Slightly away from the bustle of the Falls, which can get noisy from the constant buzzing of helicopters, Elephant Camp offers calm and tranquil surroundings and luxury accommodation.
You will be taken to the airport for your afternoon flight to Johannesburg and connecting overnight flight on British Airways to London Heathrow.
