Africa has a multitude of amazing destinations, with three of the most iconic surely being Kenya’s famous Masai Mara Reserve, the Victoria Falls, which straddle Zimbabwe and Zambia, and Table Mountain, which looks out majestically over the city of Cape Town. With new flight connections from Kenya to both sides of the Victoria Falls and onwards to Cape Town, combining these three sights into one extraordinary holiday has never been easier. Not only does this itinerary take you to all of these iconic attractions, it also allows you to stay in some of Africa’s most luxurious ‘Grande Dames’ properties – Governors’ Camp in the Masai Mara, the Victoria Falls Hotel and the Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel in Cape Town.
Accommodation includes: Governors' Camp, Ole Sereni, Victoria Falls Hotel and Belmond Mount Nelson
Overnight flight from London Heathrow to Nairobi on Kenya Airways.
Early morning arrival in Nairobi. You will be met and taken to Wilson Airport for your light aircraft flight to the world famous Masai Mara. Established in the 1970s and still going strong today Governors’ Camp offers a classic tented camp experience from its superb location on the banks of the Mara River and has easy access to the game rich Musiara Marsh and Paradise Plains. You will stay in this iconic camp for three nights exploring the Mara’s prolific and varied wildlife on guided game drives. You also have the opportunity, for an extra cost, to enjoy the quintessential Masai Mara experience of an early morning hot air balloon trip.
After a final game drive this morning you will fly to Nairobi for an overnight stop at Ole Sereni Hotel.
Early this morning you will fly direct to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe for a two night stay at the Victoria Falls Hotel. Popularly known as the ‘grand old lady’, this famous hotel was first opened over 100 years ago and it continues to delight guests with its colonial charm, beautiful gardens, superb service and its views of the spray from the falls. Just a short walk from the hotel the Zambezi River forms the Victoria Falls as it plunges over 100 metres along a length of 1.5 kilometres to create the world’s largest falling curtain of water. Whether seen up close from the walkways and viewpoints or from above on a helicopter trip the Victoria Falls is truly a sight to behold.
This morning you will take a direct flight to Cape Town, South Africa’s ‘Mother City’, for a three night stay at Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel. Located amongst manicured gardens with views of Cape Town’s most recognisable landmark, Table Mountain, this is the city’s best known hotel where traditional, colonial grandeur and elegant, modern style combine to create a luxurious haven in the heart of the city. Cape Town’s beaches, world-class restaurants, Robben Island and Cape Point are all within easy reach and no trip would be complete without a cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain where, from a height of over 1000 metres, you can take in the panoramic views of the city and Table Bay.
You will be transferred to the airport for your overnight British Airways flight to London Heathrow.
Early morning arrival into London Heathrow.
