Sometimes it's difficult to decide between safari and beach. On one hand you want to dive into the bush and observe the amazing African animals in their wild environment. But you also want some time to flop onto a beach and forget you ever had to go to work. Well this Kenya escape combines both. See, dreams can come true.
Accommodation includes: House Of Waine, Kicheche Laikipia Camp and Serena Beach Hotel
Depart on the direct, daylight British Airways flight to Nairobi. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to the House Of Waine, a unique boutique hotel set on 2.5 acres of tropical gardens in the quiet Karen suburb of Nairobi. Originally a family home, this family owned and run property was lovingly converted into a hotel in 2004 and is now one of Nairobi's premier luxury boutique hotels.
Transfer to Wilson Airport for a short flight to Nanyuki. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to Kicheche Laikipia Camp for a 3-night stay. A small luxurious tented camp, nestled at the foot of indigenous forest overlooking a waterhole, in the centre of the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. The Conservancy offers guests a wonderfully remote environment to enjoy quality game viewing and is home to Kenya's largest population of Black Rhino, considerable numbers of elephant, cheetah, lion and leopard. Privacy and personal service are assured as the main camp has just six luxurious tents featuring en suite bathrooms and outdoor decks where guests can relax and lookout for passing wildlife.
Fly to Nairobi and connect with your onward flight to Mombasa. Enjoy the next 6 nights at the Serena Beach Hotel. Charmingly-designed to replicate an ancient Swahili town, it has everything expected from a five-star beach resort – family rooms, water sports, spa, swimming pool, tennis & squash courts. The stretch of beach in front of the hotel is picture postcard, and the service is always exemplary.
