Combine the wonders of the Victoria Falls with two of Botswana’s premier game-viewing areas. Traditionally one of Africa’s most expensive safari destinations, stays in Botswana’s game-rich wildernesses of the Chobe National Park and the Okavango Delta are preceded by time at the majestic Falls on this superb value-for-money holiday.
Accommodation includes: Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, Chobe Elephant Camp and Setari Camp
From Johannesburg, take the mid-morning flight to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
You will be met at Victoria Falls airport and transferred by road to the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge where you spend the next three nights.
Set high on a natural plateau, the westward-facing property borders the Zambezi National Park and enjoys an enviable location just a short drive from the thundering Victoria Falls, Southern Africa's foremost attraction. Enjoying uninterrupted views of spectacular African sunsets and year-round game at the lodge’s own waterhole, the property is ideally positioned to offer the most discerning traveller a taste of Africa at its best.
Transfer by road across the border into Botswana, and the Chobe National Park. Spend the next three nights at the Chobe Elephant Camp.
Set atop a ridge in the Northern section of the Chobe National Park, this property is a fantastic value-for-money option for those looking to enjoy the fabulous game viewing of the area. The ridge-top location means guests can see for miles around and enjoy easy access to some of the best game viewing areas of Chobe, including the areas where large herds of elephant congregate. In between morning and afternoon game drives, the pool area is the perfect place to cool off or you can relax in the lounge area of the main lodge. The rooms are simple, comfortable chalets but are very welcoming after a long, tiring day exploring the bush.
Transfer to Kasane airport for your light aircraft flight to the Okavango Delta to spend three nights at Setari Camp.
Tucked deep within the main artery of the Okavango is a private concession where Setari Camp is situated. Meaning tree in the local Setswana language, this camp has been lovingly designed to integrate the giant riverine forest and palms trees which dominate the island. Winding walkways, set high above the ground, interlink the tents, dining room, pool and gym, and create a massive tree-house from which to marvel at the panoramic views over the crystal-clear channels and papyrus beds beyond.
Take the light aircraft flight to Maun and connect with onward flight to Johannesburg.
