Just a 30 minute drive upstream from Livingstone you will find the charming Waterberry Lodge. Close enough to allow guests to easily visit The Falls, but secluded enough to offer a wonderful feeling of privacy, this is a great base for enjoying the range of activities on offer in the area. The rooms are nicely spread around the spacious gardens, which lead down to the banks of the Zambezi. As well as visiting The Falls, you will be able to enjoy a range of activities, including river cruises, fishing trips, historical tours of Livingstone and cultural village tours. You can choose to have 1 or 2 activities included each day, so you can build in some all important relaxation time. The River Farmhouse is a private family unit attached to the property and perfect for families and small groups looking to enjoy the lodge.
A perfect location for families looking to add some activities into their visit to The Falls. The variety of activities on offer means you can easily spend 3 days here, enjoying trips on the river, guided walks, visits to local village and of course a tour of The Falls themselves.
All meals are included in the cost of a stay here and are generally served in the covered main dining area on the open deck when the weather is fine. Private dining can also be arranged, either in the room or at a secluded location in the spacious gardens.
The main lodge is made up of 5 double and 2 family cottages. They are nice and spacious, comfortably furnished with small decking areas looking out over the gardens. There is also The River Farmhouse which is perfect for those looking for some privacy. It sleeps up to 8 guests and offers private dining and activities from its secluded location adjacent to the main lodge.
Children are welcome and families can stay close together with adjoining rooms for peace of mind.
