Sanctuary Chief's Camp is a luxury camp set on a remote island in the Okavango Delta and is consistently rated one of the top safari camps in Botswana by Conde Nast and Travel and Leisure. The area it lies in is considered to have the finest game viewing in Southern Africa including the Big Five. The dining area affords great views of the surrounding landscape and has recently been extended and improved and a brand new pizza deck with pizza oven has been added. Dine in true alfresco African style, kept warm by a camp fire, as you enjoy a candlelit gourmet dinner complemented by a selection of fine vintage wines.
The camp was recently renovated to an exceptionally high standard and features 12 large and ultra luxurious bush pavilions overlooking the waters of the Okavango Delta. Each of them has Wi-Fi, and its own plunge pool and outdoor seating and dining area. They also feature both an indoor and an outdoor shower, so you can enjoy showering under the hot African sun or starlit night sky.
