Named after its exquisite rose garden, this lovingly-restored farmhouse provides old-style elegance with modern comfort.
Relax in style amid its antique furnishings, rugs and paintings in welcoming comfortable lounges, or even in the lodge’s own pub. There are just 12 spacious rooms and 2 executive suites, which have their own private pools, and an in-house wellness centre which offers a choice of treatments and therapies. The numerous attractions of Oudtshoorn lie right on its doorstep.
An exquisite farmhouse which has been restored into a very welcoming hotel, reminiscent of somewhere in a traditional English village. Those with green fingers will appreciate the spectacular rose gardens, art-lovers will appreciate the gallery and those not counting calories will love the renowned afternoon tea.
Traditional country cuisine with a cordon bleu touch makes dining at Rosenhof a fantastic experience. Being in the heart of the Karoo, delicious local lamb dishes are never far from the menu. There is also a superb wine cellar with a fantastic range of whites and reds to compliment any dish on the menu.
With just 12 rooms and 2 Executive Suites, Rosenhof retains a small, country house feel even during busy times. The rooms are spread across the property, looking out onto the open courtyard and rose gardens.
Rosenhof accept children, however, no specific programmes are offered and there are better options in Oudtshoorn.
