Mahogany Springs Lodge is set back on the pristine waters of the Munyaga River and facing the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. It takes its name from the 400 year old mahogany tree that towers majestically above the lodge gardens. Accommodation consists of nine suites, each with its own private terrace with panoramic views of the surroundings.
Although many people will stay here for a once in a lifetime chance to see the endangered mountain gorillas it is also a perfect place for bird enthusiasts. The Bwindi Impenetrable Forest has more bird species per square kilometre than anywhere else in the world.
Superior Suites - The Superior Suites can be configured as twins, doubles or triples. These suites are spacious with large double doors and beautiful windows. Each suite has its own private exquisitely designed terrace with panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Honeymoon Suite - The room has the same design and features as the Superior Suites with a few little added extras including a larger bed and a bathtub in addition to the shower.
Two Bedroom Presidential Suite - Absolute privacy mixed with complete spaciousness the Presidential Suite has two bedrooms, two en-suite bathrooms, spacious living room and a large private terrace that overlooks the river and faces the forest. This suite is designed for guests seeking the very best.
Although children are welcome at the lodge, if you are under the age of 15 you will not be able to partake on the treks.
