Based in Akagera National Park, Magashi Camp is the latest opening from Wilderness Safaris, continuing their record of excelling at delivering the very best safari experiences alongside carefully considered conservation work. The intimate Magashi consists of six tented rooms, all tastefully decorated and boasting impressive panoramic views of the beautiful Lake Rwanyakazinga, home to one of Africa's largest population of hippos and crocodiles.
Magashi is at the heart of the transformed Akagera National Park, where a healthy population of lion and black rhino were recently reintroduced, making the area a fantastic destination for wildlife sightings. You can spend your time here on day and night game drives, safari walks, boating on the lake or even try your hand at fishing. The main area at Magashi comprises of a luxurious lounge, dining and bar area, pool, and viewing deck with an atmospheric fire pit.
Magashi Camp continues the Wilderness Safaris tradition of of delivering the very best safari experiences whilst maintaining their careful conservation work.
Magashi Camp offers six beautifully designed tented rooms with traditional Rwandan decor, as well as a spacious, open-plan lounge and dining area.
Children aged 6 and older will be accommodated, the minimum age for walking activities is 13 years old.
