In the northern part of the Serengeti National Park, on a boulder strewn hill with views of rolling grassland and open woodland, lies Lemala Kuria Hills. There are relatively few camps and lodges in this area and it is the place to be when the wildebeest migration passes through between July and October, allowing guests to experience the spectacle away from the crowds in the Masai Mara in Kenya to the north.
Kuria Hills is a permanent camp so when the mobile camps move on to follow the migration, guests here can enjoy almost exclusive access to the excellent resident game. The glass fronted suites have a contemporary design and offer space and privacy with the added luxury of a private plunge pool.
COVID-19 POLICY |
Guests at Kuria Hills can enjoy excellent game viewing throughout the year and the stylish suites are perfect for those looking for a high level of comfort and luxury.
Meals are served in camp or out in the bush with a choice of freshly cooked starters, main course, desserts and house drinks. Tea is served in the afternoon before the game drive and cocktails at sunset on one of the kopjes overlooking the Isuria escarpment.
There are fifteen spacious, luxurious, glass fronted suites with a contemporary design, indoor and outdoor showers and an outside deck with a plunge pool. The suites are spaced amongst the trees and boulders to be private and make the most of the wonderful views.
Children from the age of six are welcome at Lemala Kuria Hills.
