Lebala, along with its sister Lagoon Camp, is one of only two camps in the huge Kwando Reserve giving a very private and exclusive game experience to its guests. The camp fronts onto the Linyanti Wetlands and the scenery is dominated by vast plains with scattered palms and tree clumps backed by wooded savannah's. The area is home to a great variety of wildlife including herds of elephant and buffalo, hippo, giraffe, sable and large numbers of predators which can be viewed on game drives on open 4x4 vehicles in the company of an expert guide and tracker.
Lebala is renowned for its predator sightings and with many elephant, buffalo and numerous antelope species the game viewing here should keep both safari virgins and veterans happy.
Lebala's kitchen produces a range of delicious, fresh food and dinner around the communal dining table is the perfect time to swap safari stories with your fellow guests.
The camp's eight spacious rooms are built on a raised teak deck, and are laid out with maximum comfort and privacy in mind and overlook the Linyanti wetlands. The en-suite bathrooms feature Victorian clawfoot bathtubs, "his and hers" washbasins and indoor and outdoor showers.
The camp takes children from six years old and families with children younger than 12 are required to book a private vehicle. Specialist family guides can be arranged. Lebala Camp has a two-bedroom family tent.
