Elegant suites in glass and stone give this lodge a measure of contemporary chic in its deep valley location.
Each of the 9 suites is large, airy and light with wall-to-wall glass doors on two sides which give stunning views of the surrounding cliffs. Each room has an indoor and outdoor shower, telescope, a large sun deck and private pool, providing the perfect base from which to enjoy the many activities for which the Shamwari Reserve is renowned.
The flagship Shamwari property, with indoor and outdoor showers, large sun decks and private pools all laid on for the lucky few. Each room also has its own telescope –a nice touch. Smokers can enjoy themselves by hiding away in the cigar lounge.
The kitchen at Eagles Crag provides a fantastic range of meals for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, as well as a sumptuous afternoon tea before heading out on your evening safari. Meals are served in the main dining room or al fresco if the weather permits. Private dining in suites can also be arranged for special occasions.
9 rooms make up Eagles Crag, all of which are detached from one another and offer the same facilities, including a large private decking area and plunge pool.
Eagles Crag is not suitable for children under 16. Families can book into either Riverdene or Sarili Lodges if they are travelling with children under 16.
