Nestled amongst 37 acres of lush, palm tree-covered gardens on the north-east coast of Mauritius, the Constance Belle Mare Plage sports a two-kilometre stretch of dazzling white sand beach and offers an endless array of entertainment, sport and pampering, sure to please visitors of any age. The selection of rooms, suites and villas, all in a picturesque setting, are spacious and tastefully decorated with state-of-the-art amenities.
This hotel is an ideal place for a family holiday as it offers something for everyone, from the Constance Kids Club to a spa, fitness centre and even two challenging 18-hole golf courses. The resort has a superb range of restaurants, all offering delicious international cuisine and separate children’s menus, with babysitting services and family villas also available. Plus, a plethora of water sports are on offer here and there are four different swimming pools at the resort, including one heated pool.
Although the weather in Mauritius is typical of a tropical climate, the best time of year to take advantage of the resort's water sports and beautiful beaches is between the winter months of May and November, when the weather is cool, dry and sunny. While the climate is never cold, mid-December to March marks the wet cyclone season on the island and the east coast picks up particularly strong winds in July and August.
This resort ensures a wonderful stay for families on the east coast of Mauritius. Spacious rooms and a large beach with an abundance of water sports means there is something for all the family. The beachfront restaurants offer food and drink service direct to your sun lounger, where you can enjoy a stunning view of the ocean. For those feeling more active, there are two superb golf courses which all-inclusive guests can use for free during their stay.
Dining options: There are seven restaurants and two bars to choose from, whether it’s romantic fine dining at Blue Penny Cellar or sumptuous beach food at LAKAZE, you’ll have plenty of options during your stay.

While ideal for couples, these rooms can hold three adults or two adults and two children. They offer a furnished terrace or balcony, often facing the ocean, as well as large beds and modern bathrooms with a bath and a walk-in shower. They come with all the benefits of the above rooms, plus extras including a Nespresso machine and an Apple Mac mini.

Offering large bedrooms as well as a separate living area, this room would suit couples or families (it can fit three adults or two adults and two kids). With spectacular ocean views and a private balcony, you’ll have all the space you need.

Constance Belle Mare Plage’s range of villas offer all the benefits of the above rooms but also include separate check-in facilities and a personalised villa master service. There are a variety of villa options available:

This premium villa houses five beautiful bedrooms and even an outdoor bathroom, accommodating 10 adults and five kids.
Take to the Water
The boathouse at the resort offers a large variety of complimentary water sports, including water skiing, wakeboarding, windsurfing and the use of kayaks and pedalos. Alternatively, take a trip out to sea on Hobie Cats, as well as laser and glass-bottom boat trips, or stop for snorkelling in the clear water.

You can easily stay active on your holiday by enjoying the many facilities available in the hotel’s grounds, such as the four tennis courts, French bowling area, 9-hole minigolf course or table tennis.
