Set on the Busanga Plains in the far north of the Kafue National Park, Busanga Camp is a superb option for guests looking for a traditional tented safari. With just 4 tented rooms the camp has a lovely intimate feel to it and is small enough to be taken on an exclusive basis. The location on the grassy floodplains makes for extraordinary sunrises and sunsets as the sun takes on a beautiful pink colour. There are often large herds of animals close to the camp and it is a superb location for birding enthusiasts. As well as traditional day and night game drives, guests will also be able to enjoy guided bush walks and the chance for hot air balloon safaris followed by a champagne breakfast.
If you are looking for a private, intimate safari experience in Zambia then Busanga really fits the bill. With just 4 tents it is small enough to be taken on an exclusive basis, meaning you can explore the wonders of the Kafue National Park at your own pace.
Meals are all taken under the shadow of a large tree in the centre of the camp. A huge chandelier lantern hangs from the tree providing a unique atmosphere.
Busanga is very small with 4 comfortable tented rooms. Small decking areas at the front of the tents are a fantastic place for you to relax during the heat of the day.
Children aged 6 and over are welcome, but the minimum age for walking safaris is 13.
